The history of vhi & ikb
1985
Peter Nebgen set up the company ikb Ingenieur- und Konstruktionsbüro für Feuerungsbau GmbH.
1987
Establishment of the subsidiary vhi – Vertriebsgesellschaft für Hochtemperaturwerkstoffe und Industriebedarf mbH.
1994
Opening of production of metal anchors at the production location in the “Rennweg / Klingelswiese“ industrial area.
1998
Relocation of the office to the production location.
2001
Establishment of the vhi UK. Ltd. in the United Kingdom. Appointment of David Richardson as managing director of vhi UK. Ltd.
2006
Denise Hengesbach & Thomas Klaas are appointed managing directors alongside Peter Nebgen.
2008
Conversion and extension of the office and production location.
2012
In January Denise Hengesbach advices that she wishes to leave management at the end of the year.
2012
Peter Nebgen dies on 30 September aged 60.
2012
Gabriele Nebgen takes over the new companies of her deceased husband Peter Nebgen as new managing partner.
