AK

The anchoring systems of the AK series have diverse uses as welded construction. They are characterised by three anchoring elements that are welded onto a screw element, a female threaded sleeve or a turned part with a male screw thread.

The AK series is cast-in in a prefabricated component made from refractory concrete and remains in the component. For transportation, for example of a runner, threaded bolts are screwed into the connectors that extend up to the surface of the component, to which the hoist of a crane or stacker is then attached. Another function is used if, for example, burner blocks are to be affixed to the side or roof of a kiln housing. In this case the threaded bolts screwed into the connectors are pushed through holes in the housing panel and screwed to the outside.

Anchor type AK3.6 has been developed for use in the pipe walls of process gas coolers. It consists of three bracket elements that are welded in the grooves of the round support element. This guarantees good force transmission. There is a male screw at the other end of the support element with which the anchor can be screwed into a female threaded sleeve or a system comprising threaded bolts and sleeve.
