The Dual Pin Series is an anchoring system that can be deployed universally because it can be adapted to the circumstances when used to repair refractory concrete linings. The anchors in the Dual Pin Series are mounted manually by means of welding on the steel casing of the plant component. The desired position of the anchor can be obtained by bending the ends of the anchor; anchors that are too long are adjusted to the correct size by shortening one or both arms of the anchor.
The dual pin anchors are supplied in three basic versions:
STU - Anchors without corrugation which are deployed for simple tasks such as for thin linings or in tub positions.
CTU - Corrugated anchors for average to difficult anchoring applications; the depth of the corrugation is basically one time the diameter of the wire for good transmission of the retention forces to the refractory concrete.
HTU - Anchors of this type have a more pronounced corrugation. This leads to a yet better transmission of retention forces to the refractory concrete.
The dual pin anchors are supplied in diameters of 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm depending on version and application. They are equally suitable for all monolithic materials, refractory castables, refractory gunning mixes and ramming material.
