On request vhi provides an aluminised welding tip for bolts and anchors.
Aluminium has a smaller ionization energy compared to steel. Consequently it ignites the arc more easily and safely. Furthermore the aluminium calms the weld bath, makes the fused material ductile, prevents the carburisation of the fused material, reduces pore formation and promotes fine grains.
